STRUCTURE:
The competition will have two levels:
➢ Preliminary: constitute of multiple parallel group of discussion each comprising of maximum 10 participants (one group).
➢ Final: Three individual from the each group will qualified for final.
RULES:
➢ The students will randomly assigned to a group
➢ The topics of discussion of each group will released at the venue.
➢ All the students are requested to bring pen/pencil, blank paper for group discussion.
TIMING:
➢ Each speaker is allowed a maximum of 2 minutes at a stretch to put forward their points. The moderator will ensure that each participant will get a chance to speak.
➢ The whole discussion will go for 20 minutes.
JUDGEMENT CRITERIA:
➢ MATTER: The content of their points and its relevance to the topic of discussion along with attempt to add diverse perspectives to it is encouraged.
➢ MANNER: The Etiquettes of their Speech. Practises Such as Interrupting another participants in a middle of a speech, passing condescending
remarks etc. are highly discouraged. Polite but active participants are encouraged.
